Dan, your opinions about how much government intervention in private company ownership terrify me. I can only assume that considering your inability to spell correctly, you are simply uneducated and haven't a clue about how financial markets function, who actually owns companies, what it takes to start a company, the amount of risk involved, and the utter disdain you show for the people who took risk to create something out of nothing in this country. I would strongly encourage you to educate yourself. For example, you should know that executive compensation (which you are so opposed to) is less than 1/10 of 1 percent of expense in those major corporations you hate. So, to blame this "financial mess" on executive comp simply illustrates your total lack of awareness. Is it a problem? Perhaps. Is it even remotely a root cause for this mess? Absolutely not.
Read before talking.
